I stayed up late last night working on a presentation for a lab meeting. I was learning to use Beamer and create a kick-ass presentation with PDFLaTeX.
Now I find out that we skipped a week and I won’t be presenting until next Monday.
Arg!!!
Update
Here’s the first part of the presentation. I removed the second part which contains massive amounts of unpublished data. Isn’t Beamer+PDFLaTeX cool!

Awww!! Well, at least you are prepared for next week!
So, post the presentation…
I’ve posted the first part of the presentation.
Very cool. I started using (pdf)latex two years ago. Although, I never made slides with it. Now, I think I may try it. PowerPoint corrupts .
Reed, this is somewhat peripheral to DAWG, but have you looked at the stuff on assessing tree construction methods using Avida lineages where one knows the complete evolutionary history of the lineages? A prepublication version of one such paper is here: http://tinyurl.com/d7s8h – I think it was ultimately published, maybe in Artificial Life.
